About this event

Location: YDL-Michigan (Program Room) The Fall season of Reading Readiness bookclub is sponsored by Ann Arbor SPARK East Innovation Center, as a part of our new program series Downtown STEM. We will explore STEM concepts and the connection between early STEM skills and future reading success! A family-oriented book club to showcase techniques for pre-readers in a low-pressure, supportive environment. Caregivers and kiddos will work together to understand pre-reading skills, how they support reading readiness, and how to practice them. Learn more about how to support early literacy, the importance of family involvement, and how to practice supportive reading with your little one. Targeted for ages 3-6 years old showing interest in reading or any young child who likes to sit and read with a caregiver. Each family unit will leave with a book to practice skills at home, as well as age-appropriate tips and tricks for practicing pre-reading skills.

Listed by CitySpark: Ypsilanti, MI, gathered by the Ann Arbor events calendar.
