Ann Arbor's Trail's Edge Camp offers a free summer program where 32 ventilator-dependent children use adaptive equipment to climb treehouses & kayak while enjoying activities like fishing and marshmallow toasting.
The Inspiration Gala on Saturday, Mar. 21 at Venue by 4M will raise funds to support this volunteer-run camp.

Mothfire Brewing at 713 W.
Ellsworth Road will mark International Women’s Day on March 11 by launching its annual brew event with a new beer called Rosy, a Session West Coast IPA with Riwaka and Nectaron hops (named for the Rosy Maple Moth).
Michigan Theater will host A Night of Stars: Oscar Gala on March 15 at 6 p.m.—the four-hour event aims to raise funds for preserving local movie palaces, and tickets must be bought by Friday, Feb.

A 77-page report outlines a vision for downtown Ann Arbor's new library with a cafe, auditorium, and flexible event spaces (including creative and teen areas) as planning continues.
Library officials expect to negotiate a property transfer soon while design work remains in its early stages.

The No. 3-ranked Michigan Wolverines hosted Minnesota on Feb.
24 at 8:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network from Ann Arbor. The Crisler Center Pool(e) Party allowed fans to see Michigan chase a Big Ten title and notch its 100th win in the series — a milestone in the rivalry.
The No. 3-ranked Michigan Wolverines clinched a share of the Big Ten championship with a 77-67 win over Minnesota on Feb.
24 at Crisler Center, improving to 26-2 overall & 16-1 in conference play. They will face Illinois on Feb. 27 at State Farm Center to try to win the title outright.
