- ➤ UM was named as a potential partner by the Department of War to host a senior service college fellowship based on criteria like minimal adversary ties (memo dated Feb. 27), following cuts to partnerships with Ivy League schools; 93 military students will finish their current courses. MLive
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Ann Arbor’s sustainability office is teaming with recycler Comprenew to collect household electronics. Residents can drop off approved items at City Hall from March 9 to 24 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and additional drop-off events are planned later this year. MLive
FINANCE NEWS
- ➤ Local 4 reports that some Michigan families face car insurance cancellations for not listing all household members — including infants and toddlers — on their policies. State Sen.
