🎓 Education
Ann Arbor teachers and district officials have been in contract talks over pay and benefits amid a $25 million shortfall that led to teaching cuts since December.
A school board meeting (tonight at 7 p.m.) will address the negotiations as both sides work to reach a new agreement.
At Wednesday's school board meeting, parents and students urged officials to release detailed budgets and pause new spending until teachers' 84-day contract dispute is resolved.
A third mediated bargaining session is scheduled for today (March 26) amid a $25 million shortfall.
🏥 Health
Washtenaw County Health confirmed the seventh measles case in an unvaccinated child and identified exposure sites at a local community college, a Kroger, and Trinity Health’s emergency room.
Residents who are not immune should monitor for symptoms and follow public health guidance until April 11.
