- ➤ Hollywood icon Martin Sheen has been announced as a guest at Motor City Comic Con, which will be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi from May 16 to May 18. He will appear on Saturday and Sunday — joining a guest list that includes stars from The Office, Star Wars, Avengers and Goonies. MLive

- ➤ Emergent Health Partners—an ambulance agency serving southeast Michigan—was reaccredited on Feb 24 by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services and will continue to provide emergency care in the region. MLive

- ➤ Michigan defensive ends TJ Guy and Derrick Moore will return this fall to bolster the Wolverine pass rush as Guy impressed last season with 5 1/2 sacks and Moore worked to improve his first step—both are set to help the team tackle a tough schedule.
