- ➤ Ann Arbor’s West Park bandshell, built in 1938, has been closed for four years due to a crumbling foundation and may be demolished this fall or next spring as officials plan a park redesign that could include a new performance stage built outside the floodway — the Park Advisory Commission will consider a resolution on May 20 while community input and funding needs guide next steps.
