- ➤ A senior dog found in a dumpster in the 3000 block of Wolverine Drive in March was euthanized after shelter staff determined that a tumor on its left side was incurable and causing pain. Ann Arbor police are seeking information to understand how the dog ended up there — any leads may help piece together its background. MLive
- ➤ Today, Ann Arbor hosts the FoolMoon street party from dusk to midnight on Ashley — Washington, while the 54th annual Hash Bash will take place at high noon on Saturday at the Diag with free events for adults 21 and older. The weekend continues with the FestiFools parade on Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m. and a $15 yoga with cats class at Tiny Lions Lounge from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. MLive

- ➤ A fallen tree crushed the top portion of a home on Pineview Court in Ann Arbor on April 3 and local fire crews arrived at (11:51 a.m.) to assess the damage. MLive

- ➤ Attorneys representing 17 accusers in five lawsuits against former Michigan assistant football coach Matt Weiss said the coach is accused of accessing personal information from over 150K students, with some victims also surviving Larry Nassar’s abuse + his indictment includes 24 felony counts of unauthorized computer access. - ➤ A judge dismissed a lawsuit that sought to pause work on two new elementary school sites after parents protested the removal of trees. Ann Arbor Public Schools will continue with construction — logs from felled trees are piled up outside Clague Middle School where one new school is planned. MLive
