  • The University of Michigan will focus on health and well-being in the 2026-27 academic year, offering programming and events to promote wellness, reduce health equity gaps, and boost healthcare innovation at its campus (announced by university leadership).  MLive

  • Emergency rooms are reporting a record high in tick bite visits these past three weeks, and MDHHS has confirmed 250 Lyme disease cases so far in 2026.
