- ➤ On April 27, a flash gasoline fire during a motorcycle repair ignited a garage and spread to an attic on Gott Street, causing about $100,000 in damages and minor burns to one person while firefighters saved most of the home and its contents—authorities said the incident was contained quickly. - ➤ A new apartment high-rise is under construction at 721 S. Forest Ave and will welcome University of Michigan students for fall.
