- ➤ Ann Arbor-based TecEd Lighthouse has a new ownership after founder Stephanie Rosenbaum handed the reins to Carol Righi and Vasileios (Vasilis) Kalyvis after more than 50 years in business. The firm will expand internationally and add services in quantitative and AI research. MLive

- ➤ On March 6, a viral video showed a nurse helping a man who passed out during Emily Catalano’s comedy show at the Blind Pig. Emergency services responded quickly and the audience applauded the nurse’s action as the clip later drew hundreds of thousands of views online. MLive

- ➤ The University of Michigan’s Department of Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences announced on Apr. 10 that it will help lead a five-year, $38.4M regional project to train nuclear energy workers, partnering with the University of Toledo and industry to launch reactor safety, cybersecurity, and advanced technology programs across multiple sites.
