A 17-year-old driver lost control on northbound U.S. 23 in Ann Arbor Township just after 3:02 a.m. on May 25 when his Nissan Rogue rolled several times, ejecting him while a 16-year-old passenger remained trapped in the vehicle and both teens were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital with the driver in critical condition and the passenger stable (police said alcohol or drugs may have contributed).
Ann Arbor city hall payroll has grown as records show that in 2024, 225 employees earned more than $100,000 in total pay—up from 170 five years ago.
City officials said planned raises, new hires, and a compensation study will support competitive pay and help retain essential talent.
