ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A 17-year-old driver lost control on northbound U.S. 23 in Ann Arbor Township just after 3:02 a.m. on May 25 when his Nissan Rogue rolled several times, ejecting him while a 16-year-old passenger remained trapped in the vehicle and both teens were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital with the driver in critical condition and the passenger stable (police said alcohol or drugs may have contributed). GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Ann Arbor city hall payroll has grown as records show that in 2024, 225 employees earned more than $100,000 in total pay—up from 170 five years ago. City officials said planned raises, new hires, and a compensation study will support competitive pay and help retain essential talent. MLive
