The University of Michigan, which bought the Concordia campus for $60 million, has promised to preserve the chapel (a 61-year-old community gem used for daily services and events, including the annual Boar’s Head Festival).
Alumni now hope it remains a welcoming space for gatherings.

Michigan football lost a defensive back commit when three-star safety (Maxwell Miles) flipped his pledge to Minnesota last Sunday, cancelling his planned visit from June 12 to 14 in Ann Arbor.
The move adds to the Wolverines’ efforts to strengthen their 2027 recruiting class.
