  • On Monday, July 7, 2025, about a dozen cyclists rode downtown with bubble machines attached to their bikes — a playful protest for safer streets — as they urged the council to use $500,000 for a quick build protected bike lane and road diet, ending their 3.5-mile ride at City Hall during the public comment period.  MLive
