- ➤ Dexter Community Schools will interview three internal candidates for the superintendent role next week—Ryan Bruder, Melanie Nowak, and Barb Leonard—with interviews set for Monday, July 14 and Tuesday, July 15 in the Bates Boardroom at 2704 Baker Road. Board members will choose finalists on July 16, hold second-round interviews on July 21, and tentatively select a new superintendent on July 22 before giving final hiring approval on Aug. 11. MLive
