Ann Arbor District Library Director Eli Neiburger said he is clearing up false claims about Proposals A and B, which allow the library to use Library Lane for a new downtown library.
He said the plan will include a large building with housing above and public plaza space — details meant to show the library will keep the land in public ownership.
