UM graduate Maya Boyd will star as Storm in Marvel’s new X-Men movie, set to premiere on May 5; her film feature debut follows a Broadway run that underscores her UM roots (a milestone for local talent).
🏛️ Government
University of Michigan will welcome more than 10,000 first-year students for fall move-in from Aug.
26 until Aug. 30; early move-in begins Aug. 22 and city streets near residence halls will have one-way routes and reserved parking to ease traffic disruptions as officers monitor flow.
🏈 Sports
Former Michigan edge rusher Jaylen Harrell tore his ACL in the Titans' preseason opener on Thursday, Aug.
13, and will miss the season after recording two tackles. Harrell, known for his sack records at Michigan, is now expected to focus on recovery.
