EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Nearly 17,000 students returned on Monday, Aug. 25 to Ann Arbor Public Schools for the start of the 2025-2026 school year. The first day followed a half-day schedule and full days will resume Tuesday, Sept. 2—teachers welcomed students across several schools. MLive

- ➤ Ann Arbor named Malisa McCreedy as its new transportation manager effective Monday, Aug. 25.
