  • Raising Cane’s is set to open Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 1116 S. University Avenue near campus to serve University of Michigan students and local residents—its third Michigan location. The new restaurant will offer free meals for 20 lucky customers for a year and will operate from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday to Wednesday and until 3 a.m. Thursday to Saturday.  MLive

  • Michigan football defeated New Mexico State 34-17 on Saturday, August 30th in a season opener led by true freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood—the first true freshman starter since 2009.
