🎓 Education
Ypsilanti Community High School is now one of two in Michigan offering both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and the Career-related Programme as students come back to class today.
The authorization was approved earlier this summer and builds on the district's Magnet Schools Assistance Program Grant.
🏈 Sports
Former Michigan running back Kalel Mullings was waived by the Tennessee Titans on Sunday + he may be claimed by another team or added to their practice squad.
The All-Big Ten selection played little as a rookie due to a hip pointer injury.
Former Michigan All-American pass rusher David Ojabo was cut by the Dolphins on Sunday along with two other ex-Wolverines.
The Dolphins signed him to a one-year contract (worth $1.4 million) to boost their pass rush but he recorded only two tackles in preseason games.
Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers waived former Michigan linebacker Junior Colson on Sunday as the team trimmed its roster to 53 players.
The 25-year-old, who played 43 games and led the Wolverines in tackles last season, was hampered by injuries during his NFL rookie season.
