ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A crash involving a dump truck and a pickup truck in a construction zone on southbound U.S. 23 north of Ann Arbor occurred on Sept. 5 at 11:21 a.m.—police are investigating the incident and clearing wreckage as the road remains closed with no injuries reported and no set reopening time. MLive
- ➤ On Sept. 3, 2025, an eastbound semi truck jackknifed on I-94 at Jackson Avenue in Ann Arbor—its steel coils came loose and the driver was seriously injured but is expected to survive after the accident followed a previous crash that spilled glass bottles there. All About Ann Arbor

- ➤ ICE agents arrested an Ann Arbor father near Lakewood Elementary on Sept. 4 after he dropped off his child, but officials later found he was not amenable to removal and he was promptly released—agents said they did not enter the school. MLive
