City Council approved street closures to allow several upcoming events that will change traffic patterns in Ann Arbor.

The closures affect the Ann Arbor Marathon on Oct. 12+ Tech Trek and the Touchdown Tailgate on Oct. 3+ KindleFest on Dec. 5, each set to block key streets during their events.

Community members will join a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept.

12 at Broadway Park West along the Huron River in Ann Arbor where officials will offer remarks before attendees cross a new pedestrian bridge. Later the event will feature a DJ dance party and Sunday Bubble Fest—providing music and refreshments as the park opens.

Exotic Snack Guys is open at Woodland Mall in Kentwood and offers treats like peach yogurt soda, spicy watermelon gummies and blueberry pie cookies from 40 countries.
