- ➤ City Council approved street closures to allow several upcoming events that will change traffic patterns in Ann Arbor. The closures affect the Ann Arbor Marathon on Oct. 12+ Tech Trek and the Touchdown Tailgate on Oct. 3+ KindleFest on Dec. 5, each set to block key streets during their events. MLive
- ➤ Community members will join a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12 at Broadway Park West along the Huron River in Ann Arbor where officials will offer remarks before attendees cross a new pedestrian bridge. Later the event will feature a DJ dance party and Sunday Bubble Fest—providing music and refreshments as the park opens. MLive
