- ➤ Voters in Milan will elect a new mayor and three city council members for a four-year term on November 4. The contest pits current Mayor Ed Kolar running for reelection against challenger Laura Russeau along with candidates Shannon Dare Wayne, Marie Gress, and Jesse Robert Nie. MLive
- ➤ Ann Arbor officials spent months exploring a new records system to improve police data tracking; in May, City Council tasked City Administrator Milton Dohoney with leading a review to report back within 120 days—details on the system will be shared once the review is completed. MLive
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Brides Project boutique at 1677 Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor is running its '60 in 60' campaign to collect designer wedding gowns donated by individuals and salons to fund free cancer support services, including counseling and educational workshops.
