- ➤ New York-born humorist David Sedaris will perform his show 'An Evening With David Sedaris' at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 25 at the Michigan Theater, 603 E. Liberty St.—marking his seventh appearance in Ann Arbor and including a stop at Miller Auditorium in Kalamazoo on Oct. 15 as part of his tour. MLive
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Voters will decide on a bond measure on Nov. 4 that would let Stockbridge Community Schools borrow $15,100,000 from the state for capital improvements—if approved, the district’s tax rate will remain at 3.3 mills. The funds will pay for updates like roof replacements, plumbing upgrades, and repaved parking lots and must be used only for infrastructure projects with state audits required. MLive
- ➤ The University of Michigan is considering spending $9 million to upgrade an 11,614-square-foot space at 1700 M St. in Washington, DC to house modern classrooms and event spaces. The Board of Regents will vote on the proposal today at 3:30 p.m. on the Flint campus—Skanska will manage renovations set to finish in fall. MLive
