- ➤ FASORP dropped its lawsuit on Oct. 10 against the Michigan Law Review and university officials after alleging that the legal journal favored race, sex, and sexual orientation in its membership process over straight white men—leaving its discrimination claims unresolved. MLive
- ➤ The UM Board of Regents approved a $3.5M plan on Oct 16 at the Flint campus to renovate 52,682 square feet at 1000 Victors Way and create modern office spaces for several university departments. The project is funded with central university reserves and takes place in a building owned by Bluebird Ann Arbor LLC + a subsidiary of Oxford Property Management that is valued at over $4.2M. MLive
