- ➤ Ann Arbor Rotary Clubs will run their fourth Send Hunger Packing event on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to noon at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School—volunteers will package one-pot meals for local pantries and disaster relief abroad. Organizers said they aim to pack 50K meals and raise $17,500 while involving community members of all ages. MLive

- ➤ Ann Arbor Public Schools shared survey results showing only about half of parents feel staff learn students' cultures — district leaders will create a student advisory committee and boost staff training to improve cultural understanding. Officials also plan to expand anti-bullying programs and enhance reporting systems to address discrimination and safety concerns. MLive
