  • Local orthodontist Dr. Brandon Shoukri offered to buy a 2.5-acre city property in Dexter once planned for a fire station and the city approved a letter of interest on Oct 27. He aims to build a state-of-the-art medical facility near Mill Creek Middle School — the council will hold a public hearing on the sale soon.  MLive
  • Ann Arbor city is asking residents to take a transportation survey to share how safe they feel when walking, biking and driving, with responses due by Oct. 31 under the Vision Zero plan—feedback will help officials shape safer streets in the city.  MLive

SPORTS NEWS

  • Michigan Wolverines head coach Sherrone Moore said back Rod Moore is still recovering from a knee issue while the team prepares to face Purdue at the Big House on Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. He explained that they will adapt to Purdue’s two quarterbacks and noted that college betting rules have not been discussed with the players yet—emphasizing focus on the game.  All About Ann Arbor
