Texas-based Related Digital received approval to build Michigan's first hyperscale data center in Saline Township—this project secured a deal with Michigan's largest utility to draw power for over a million homes and is hailed by Gov. Whitmer as the largest one-time state investment. The data center will host servers to meet rising cloud computing and AI demand as construction moves forward.

The new Kahn Pavilion Hospital at Michigan Medicine will accept patients by the end of the year—this 12-story facility has 264 beds and employs 2,000 staff after construction delays from the pandemic.

It will provide intensive care and specialty services in areas such as neuroscience and cardiovascular care.
