  • A $7 billion data center project is set to transform 250 acres of farmland on the northwest side of U.S. 12 in Saline Township to support tech giants OpenAI and Oracle—requiring energy similar to a nuclear power plant and prompting concerns about its impact on rural life.  MLive

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Ann Arbor officials announced four street closures—Madison between Fifth Avenue and Thompson, Packard between Fifth Avenue and Thompson, Jefferson between Hamilton Place and Thompson, and Division between Madison and Jefferson—from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday as the University of Michigan will relocate the historic Raoul Wallenberg house at 308 E. Madison St. to a new site on its Central Campus, where an 845-square-foot addition will connect it to the Arthur Miller house for new administrative and research spaces.  MLive
