Three children found forever homes during Washtenaw County Trial Court’s Adoption Day celebration—an event that concluded National Adoption Month and encouraged public awareness of fostering and adoption.

On Sunday, hundreds gathered at Michigan Stadium’s Stadium Club for the 43rd annual Blood Battle—part of the Big Ten 'We Give Blood' competition aimed at easing a national blood shortage.

Volunteers also registered donors for life-saving organ, tissue, and bone marrow donations that have helped patients like U of M senior Skylar Grossberg receive critical transplants.

Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore said his team will focus on sportsmanship and handshake celebrations—avoiding past brawls—in preparation for Saturday’s rivalry game against Ohio State at Michigan Stadium.

He added that clear guidance for freshmen like Bryce Underwood will help the team stay disciplined and focused on the game.
