An AutoDS report shows that Ann Arbor and seven other Michigan cities enjoy fast USPS package delivery with an average time of 3.06 days based on USPS Ground Advantage data and Census figures.
The report adds that lighter parcels take 2.99 days and heavier ones 3.13 days — revealing varied delivery times nationwide.
C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital held its holiday kickoff on Dec.
1 with a tree lighting ceremony, calendar signings, and a visit from DTE Energy light trucks that served hot cocoa and snacks. The trucks led the Little Victors Wave + the event brought cheer to patients, families and hospital staff.
After 46 horses caught equine herpesvirus-1 at rodeo events in Texas and Oklahoma, Michigan’s state veterinarian warned local horse owners to watch for signs of illness and isolate any exposed horses for at least 14 days (no Michigan cases have been reported) to keep the virus from spreading further.
Ann Arbor’s Planning Commission voted to recommend rezoning nine properties for The Dean high-rise apartment project near the University of Michigan band practice field, which will add nearly 220 units to the neighborhood.
Pennsylvania-based GMH Communities said construction will begin by February and finish by June while some residents voiced concerns about the area’s changing character—an outcome driven by university expansion.
