  • Ann Arbor anticipates a $5 million, nearly 6% increase in property tax revenue for the next fiscal year, enhancing the city budget with a surplus.  MLive

  • Head men's basketball coach Dusty May is the highest-paid University of Michigan employee in 2024 with a salary of $3,625,000, surpassing even the University President and Michigan Medicine CEO.  MLive
  • Ann Arbor Public Schools has rehired all staff previously laid off but is hiring fewer new employees compared to previous years.  MLive
