- ➤ Zingerman’s Roadhouse at 2501 Jackson Ave. will close on Jan. 4 for six weeks for renovations. During the break, the restaurant will offer a limited menu on Sundays and Mondays at Greyline (100 N. Ashley St.) and operate a food trailer in its parking lot. MLive
- ➤ Blue Leprechaun, a beloved University of Michigan student bar, closed on Dec. 13 at 1220 S. University Ave + owners confirmed the shutdown amid nostalgia for the venue. MLive
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Ann Arbor residents can get rebates up to $200 when they trade a gas snowblower for an electric one & snow shovel. The program started Dec. 8 and runs until March 1 or until funds run out, and it is part of a 20-year climate-action plan approved in 2022. MLive
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Ann Arbor Public Schools conducted radon testing at several school sites and found a storeroom at Thurston Elementary with levels above the action threshold — the district plans to install a mitigation system over winter break while other sites registered readings below concern. MLive

- ➤ A Washtenaw County judge ruled that tenants in condemned Arbor One apartments must relocate by Jan. 31, 2026 + receive financial compensation amid reports of persistent poor living conditions and limited repairs, leaving many unable to afford new housing. WXYZ
