- ➤ Ann Arbor public high school students will compete for the 2026 FutureStars title on Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. at Schreiber Auditorium+ tickets go on sale Dec. 17 while underclassmen perform as a show choir. MLive
- ➤ Ypsilanti held its Artisans Holiday Market at the Freighthouse on Dec. 20, featuring over 40 vendors with handmade gifts, art, and baked goods while one local vendor raised funds for her dog's care. The market continues today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 100 Market Place (a community favorite). MLive

- ➤ Saline Area Schools launched a $14.7 million STEAM center (opened in September) that features an open classroom, robotics workshop, and practice field. The new facility replaces cramped spaces and offers flexible labs and meeting areas to support innovative learning. MLive
