- ➤ State troopers drove 600 miles to deliver Christmas gifts to 2-year-old Vialah White at Mott Children's Hospital. Their community effort raised over $800 to buy 50 gifts + gas cards and Vialah will open her presents after Christmas. WXYZ
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Ann Arbor officials cut down several trees at Liberty Plaza on Dec. 22 because they were in poor health and caused safety hazards — part of a project to improve accessibility and update site features. New trees will be planted along Division and Liberty streets. MLive
